ABOUT

I have been in the construction industry for over two decades having worked as a carpenter, cabinet maker, drywall finisher, plumber and welder. I also have multiple certifications as a heavy equipment operator and am licensed as a forklift trainer. Over the years I have developed a love of good quality tools. Having had the opportunity to use multiple brands and types in different settings I have come to appreciate each for their own unique characteristics. 
My goal in this site is to share my experiences with different tools and brands with you so that you can make a more educated purchase.  I'm not going to list all of the specs on the tool because you can read that on the box. However I will tell you how the tool responds in different work scenarios.

I have also assembled a panel of experts from various trades to help make sure we have a wide range of tools and viewpoints.

The goal is to provide you a comprehensive view of the tool market and what some of our favorite tools are and why. Some of our reviews will be sponsored and others will just be tools we have bought for ourselves. either way it is our goal to be as open and honest about our opinion of the tool. At times we may even contact the manufacturer to make suggestions for improvements.
